Assalaam alaikum everyone! So I’m really sorry for not staying up to date with this blog, but I promise to try better this time, inshaAllah! A couple years back, I had attended a wonderful pottery class in which I handcrafted these bowls and a few other things. I really enjoyed the experience as it gave me a chance to appreciate just how delicate and subtle the art of pottery is. A note of caution; One wrong move, and you’ll probably find yourself with clay all down your front! Wet clay splatters everywhere when not handled correctly. It’s a very hit and miss kind of art form, which is why I personally prefer abstract art. You can’t really go wrong with that! But this was a lovely experience all the same and I would recommend it to anyone wishing to take up a new hobby.
